The unexpected doll: my R&D Susie

Postby MitisFeles » Tue Jan 24, 2012 10:45 am

Some days ago I bought a doll from another Italian collector, just because has a close lip smile and was jointed. She is the first in this photo:

After the conclusion of the transaction and when the doll was already shipped I identified her. She's a R&D Susie, but I don't know which one is precisely. I immediately painted her a face-up when she arrived home.

She's very pretty and has good joints, but I still prefer Obitsu. Her legs seems to me too much thin -_- Now i'm sewing her a green velvet dress to intone with my other girls on the shelf, even if I'm a very rough seamstress ^_^'''

Well, after having an Obitsu, I think you'll prefer them to just about any other doll body there is...

>_> although I like the Volks hands better than the Obitsu hands.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Ahaha, that's true XD I like my Volks boys aesthetics but not their joints...
I've read around that Hot Toys True type females are very good too, but I never had one. Let's see...

That is a beautiful face-up! Those eyes are gorgeous. I really like the sculpted smile the doll has too.

@Warrior and britbrat:
Thanks! I took inspiration from Susie's factory paint (especially for the eyebrows)
