MONSTROBITSU!!

Image

Dragon CAM arm on 25cm Obitsu girl. Thickened the peg with a thin layer of hot glue, fits great  (Her Obitsu hand peg was F'd up anyway, so I decided to experiment.)

Image

>_> and I put the Dragon CAM head on my Bitty Bitsu... I actually kind of like how it looks. Now I know what bodies to put all my extra monster heads on, LOL

That's a Liv wig she's wearing, btw. It's a bit too loose on the earless heads (Skeleton and Werewolf), but it fits pretty well on the Dragon head. (The peg has been removed from the wig.)

I also modded a dragon lower-leg piece to fit Nova (25cm Obitsu) but it didn't look right and left her with one leg longer than the other. It might look alright with a skeleton leg sticking out of a human thigh like that, but the dragon piece was just awkward. I didn't get a picture of it before I put her normal leg back on. (I had to shorten the peg and add a layer of hot glue so it would fit.)
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Stumbled across a MH pattern on Flickr today.

I think this is the finished dress

Does this, will this, enhance my life or the lives of others?

What if you put the dragon lower legs on both sides?

Went to Target to pick up the werewolf/dragon CAM set with some windfall cash, so of course I came home with Toralei... The stiffly styled hair was a surprise but I'm absolutely in love with her eyes. I'm going to give them a better coat of gloss, when I find the bottle. Some of her leg stripes are faint and look rubbed off, so I'm considering repainting those as well, maybe add some stripes to her tail, mani-pedi probably in bright orange... I'd love to redo her lips, but I not sure if I can wipe them without risking the rest of her face. Hmm.

Anyone else have an easier time getting MH dolls to stand on their own, than trying to get them to stand with their actual doll stand?

I've had some luck with free standing with big enough shoes. For the lips you can try remover on a cotton swap or one of those very fine pointy make up applicators. Blot, don't rub. My Murky lost her lipstick but not the rest of her face.

The hard thing with Tori is keeping her tail on, unless mine is special.

Thanks for the tip! I'll try that. I'd like to give her thinner, wider lips. Something to give her a slightly softer expression. And a slightly different shade of lipstick.

Now that I've gotten used to her she's really easy to stand in her shoes alone, and I haven't had much trouble keeping her tail on. Aside from when she was sitting on top of my TV on the dresser and it shifted when I was closing a drawer and she fell on my head. >_> I forgot she was up there. And I've had trouble keeping the tail and the stand on at the same time, but free standing once she's up she tends to stay there and stay together. I'm surprised at how well she balances actually.

I love this doll. XD I'm definitely going to have to get her a friend.

I am beginning to think there is nothing out there shoe wise that will fit Nefera. This sucks because if I got her, I'd be customizing her and even if I were to repaint the shoes they would still have snake heels, which wouldn't suit her anymore.

Have you considered modding the shoes? If you're careful you could probably cut off the snakes and replace them with something else the same length. Or you could make her shoes, there's tutorials out there for fashion doll shoes and then you'd have exactly what you want.
