I envy you all who don't have snow. It's frozen hell on ice out there. I'm only gonna be going out on my birthday if I can avoid it that's how much I loath this weather.

'Cept I wanna take pics of Kaname and Haruka outside being all coupley...Urge has passed.

Feb 1 and it's cloudy and . . . 60 degrees. Mind boggling. Even for Georgia. Usually its high 30s low 40s at best this time of year.

This week finally feels like Winter in Holland. No snow anymore, but it's freezing both day and night now. Even though it's only -3 degrees C, it feels a LOT colder with a nasty cold wind in your face on your bike... brrrrr.

And it's freezing cold in Lithuania. Today was -27℃ and I went to school because there was supposed to be math's mock exam. Only ~10 people out of ~118 (I think?) showed up. Of course it was canceled. Tomorrow is supposed to be history contest but I have a feeling that no-one will show up. Tomorrow and Saturday are supposed to be even colder.

We're having some proper snow right now!! Yay!!!! It started a few hours ago and it's still snowing, there's already a nice layer of white cold softness everywhere. But I have a problem... I need a particular wig for my snow photostory and I hope it'll be shipped from Think Pink today!! I need it before the snow is gone!!!!

I woke up to birds chirping. In February. In Pittsburgh. Mild Decembers and Januarys are a little strange but not that unusual here. But February and March? This is when we're supposed to have blizzards. The grass in my tiny backyard is actually growing.

Now, now, no wishing blizzards our way, famed. Embrace the birds and go cut your lawn. :D

Anyway, the happy groundhog has predicted 6 more weeks of winter. If he's right (and who on earth would doubt a weather predicting rodent?) then there is still plenty of time for real winter weather to show up.

Aw man, I am not complaining. And neither are our alley cats. Two nights ago I sat out on our back porch after work and just read and threw the strays scraps for while. It's beautiful out. I just find this deeply deeply concerning. Maybe I've just spent too much of my life here in normally overcast Pittsburgh, but there's something about sunshine in this city that's just kind of disquieting.

EDIT: And today it's snowing. Nevermind.
