I decided to finally make the entire male cast of 'La Corda d'Oro' (12 guys) in SD sized portrait dolls!!! We had 3 of 12 already (You might know 2 of them, Satoshi & Jun, from our 'Hey! Hey! Hey! doll reenactments) so I just said, 'What the heck! Let's go for it!' since we just adore Corda and all the cast (they hold cast concert events every couple of years and other events, too).

So, on Jan 1 or so, I wrote up the heights of each of the 12 (would you believe they're practically in sets of 3 matching similar heights?! I.E. I need 3x 60cm; 3x 62cm; 3x 65cm; and 3x 70cm ranges!) and started my 'search' to find their perfect head sculpts and corresponding size bodies!

The ones in 'italics' below are the 3 we already have and are finished completely, including wardrobes. The rest are still in the 'I have your body and head sitting in a box in my closet, but haven't had a chance to customize you in any way whatsoever yet.'

I've managed to purchase most of the bodies and heads already!!!! I haven't had time to do faceups or anything yet on the ones that have arrived already, but it's been even fun choosing out heads that have the basic sculpt/features of the guy in question. ^^

I just need 3 more heads (Impldoll Bosco, Dragondoll Cheng, and Fantasydoll Lionel) and 2 more bodies (Fantasydoll 69cm, Kizdolls 63cm!!!)

So now that we're getting so close, I'm starting to get super excited about this project!!!!!

I am now not only waiting for my Asleep Eidolon Blueberry to arrive from the factory and my Only-Doll RuoDie from Mint on Card, but I'm now also waiting for a second hand Iplehouse JID Ryan from the DoA marketplace. Holy bazookas he's hot. So exciting!!! Oh, I'm also waiting for a new head for my Lati Blue-body (I'll keep the Cara head as a practice head for faceups).

My doll wishlist used to be quite long, but I have decided that my doll family will be complete once I receive the dolls I am waiting for at the moment . And yes, I know that sounds silly in this hobby because there will always be new temptations, but I am fairly certain that I won't feel the need to buy any new dolls after this .

-edit- Isn't he pretty? Even my boyfriend thinks he's handsome... LOL!

My doll wishlist used to be quite long, but I have decided that my doll family will be complete once I receive the dolls I am waiting for at the moment :). Not silly! My doll wish list has gotten much smaller to the point where once floating head gets his body, I don't think I'll really want more dolls at least for a long time. I hope all your new dolliehs come quickly!

My ".. boy"? Haha! He was shipped yesterday but oddly enough the seller didn't get a tracking number. I only have a customs tracking number which isn't supposed to be used for tracking, lol. So his arrival will be a big surprise (and I'll have to pick him up the day after because I will not know how much money to have at home to pay for the customs fee... -_-)

Anyways, I just placed an order for a 2nd generation Yotsuba Revoltech action figure. She's super-duper cute and I've been wanting her since before Christmas. Shipping is 3-5 days, so there is a possibility that I may have her by the weekend!
