Tonner City Girls...

Usually I get my bigger dolls for Christmas, birthday etc. I buy most of my bigger dolls used and rarely though I have swapped for some, mostly at the local meets and bought a few on deep discount at sales. The Barbie and Antique doll people here I can't say I like much, but the BJD people are cool and they like swaps. I just found out about them. They are a new group around here. They're BJD and Tonner DC doll people mostly. There's a woman here in the other club who is a huge Ellowyn fan though. She must have 10 of them plus every outfit.

I think the Moxie Teenz look a lot like Evangeline Ghastly, particularly Tristen. I think that's why I like them so much. With these I have all the advantages of an Evangeline type doll without the high price tag. Evangeline's eyes are a bit too comic for me though. I actually think I like the MT's eyes better.

These new Tonners I think they'll satisfy my yen for an Ellowyn and Tristen is close enough to Evangeline for me. The blond is pretty close to Ellowyn and a bit to Cami/Cinderella when you look at her. The RH looks like Alex Ford. Brunette too. Or maybe Gene a bit. They'll do.

But I will always covet the other doll's clothes. Both Evangeline and Ellowyn have some really kick-a clothes. Probably worth every penny but no way I can go there. If these dolls are $40 I'm into getting all 3 eventually and some of their outfits too likely. I can see having a lot of fun with them and unlike a lot of his dolls I can afford these.

The Moxie Teenz actually reduced my hunger for Ellowynes for a while ^^.

I really really hope these City Girls will be sold in the Tonner shop or elsewhere online (besides eBay scalpers), as I don't expect they'll be coming to Dutch toyshops.

I think they mentioned on Tonner Direct in one of the videos and TRU for the playline stuff. I doubt they will turn up at the local Target/Walmart though. My TRU won't have them. No way. They never carry anything like Tonner. I'll have to order them online. But that's okay. I want them though. I think they are just too cute. Must have. I'm going to order the RH first, see how they are made. But I probably will get all 3.
