Bleach Liv Doll Hair ie jake

Postby ladylioness » Thu Feb 23, 2012 3:16 pm

Would like to bleach Liv doll Jake hair to give depth and a bit more summery. His hair is too dark for my sense of order. I thinking of a qtip and peroxide or bleach. Any suggestions?

I don't think that bleach or peroxide can work on plastic doll hair. Probably both products will only ruin them!!! If you want to have a Blond Jake, according to my knowledges your only alternative is to reroot him... but only if you can take off his head without doing damages to the doll...

I only want to give him highlights, not a whole head of blonde. Just a couple streaks showing sunkissed.

plastic hair probably won't react well to peroxide and bleach. Over the summer at work we tried to bleach fake eyelashes (the plastic kind) because we had been told they were human hair. Didn't work. (ah....we were making puppets. )

So yeah just reroot the plugs you want to be blonde. You don't have to reroot the entire head.

Or you can use some hair extensions, Halloween wigs, fake braids...
