Yeah, my husband is all fangurly over the impending release later this year of the final-final book of the Wheel of Time series. ;) Naturally, he's attending JordanCon in April. I'll read it after he's done, but I'm going to the local doll meeting that weekend instead. LOL!

I finally found some clothes that can fit my Bobobie Isabella! She can finally wear something that's not a toga!

We have an aquarium in the lobby/waiting room at work. It was donated by someone. There was a series of short lived goldfish. When the last fish died they just let the tank run but didn't do anything with it. A third of the water had evaporated out and there was a mat of algae at least two inches thick. It looked awful!

So I cleaned it out before Christmas. Changed all the water and even rinsed the gravel. I accumulated some nice looking artificial plants and lots of compliments on how nice the tank looks now.

This weekend I bought three fish. They are long fin zebra danios. Lively little fish they are too. I plan to get a few more in about a month or so. Right now we have Wimsy, Bunter, and Caesar.

Llwynog, that is so nice of you. Long life and clean living to Wimsy, Bunter ans Caesar.

I knew the were making The Hobbit. I'm so glad it's finally coming out. It looks wonderful, but then Peter Jackson did such a superlative job on Lord of the Rings, You wouldn't expect anything else.

On the Hobbit: My extremely obsessed friend told me that it is apparently using some sort of 3-d technique that has never been used before. They are filming it in the same way the human eye would see it naturally so it is supposed to be ground breaking.
There was also something about having to paint the trees of Lothlorien technicolor so they looked right on the special film. She said that shots shown off of the special film looked like an acid trip.

It sounds like it will outdo the trilogy on the cinematography level.
