My guess is that since those parts are being specifically made for Azone to distribute that it will be like the Yamato ones and remain something you have to buy from the special seller only. A real shame, but that's how those dealers are making their big money on the dolls - exclusivity!

Congrats on your new girl - can't wait to see pictures of her when she's done!

Welcome also to the obitsu addiction.

The MDD bust will fit on the 48/50cm body. You'll just have to trim the neck a bit.

do you think Obitsu will one day release these bodies (48cm) as standard?

Done.

I know Yamato makes similar parts, but I can imagine Obitsu versions being easier/cheaper to obtain via Junkyspot or Parabox.

The Yamato VMFs are made completely by Obitsu.

Can't say for certain but I'll look into it tonight. My impulse is yes, as the 40cm uses many of the same skeletal parts as the 48/50cm bodies. Using external vinyls of the same relative "diameter" seems to follow. There is a minimum diameter that a bust part has to be to fit around/over the 50cm upper torso skeletal part.

I was actually asking the general opinion on the DDdy-like 50cm bodies from Azone/Obitsu collaboration seen at Wonfes 2012.

The different bust would probably sell well on their own, but I don't know how interested Azone is in getting into the "parts" market. In the past Azone has confined themselves to "stock" Obitsu parts. The big thing is that designing and molding custom vinyl (as Yamato has done for their VMF50 line) is a much more expensive (and risky) proposition than just using parts off the shelf. With the success of the Yamato VMF50 line, Azone might be thinking that it's time to test the market with their own custom vinyls and work those exclusively into future Azone dolls.

The 40cm large bust over the stock 48/50cm abdomen. Fits like a charm.
