Crocheted Shawl for Shaye

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Crocheted Shawl for Shaye

I was just commissioned to make a shawl for another user's doll, and I decided to make a prototype to get the hang of making one. Sooo now Shaye has a shawl!

This is adorable! Crochet stitches tend to look larger than knit stitches, so it can hard to find a nice gauge for dolliehs, but this is the perfect size. It looks really comfy, too!

Thanks! I used sock weight yarn with a size F hook to make the stitches a little lacier. I'm looking for a stitch marker to use as a shawl pin until I can make her one out of a toothpick. :3

It looks very warm and snuggley (snuggly?). You use color so well.

Thanks! I don't usually like how this particular variegated yarn pools, but this shawl came out just the right way with the coloring.
