Aka's first Swappie

My poor nekkid Aka participated in a Spring Swap over at RC and I had a LOT of fun with the free Photoscape package, so I thought I'd share my first photostory using it.

I think that is the single biggest swap haul I have EVER seen!!! Aka certainly has a great friend in Tiggy - and his new dragon

I think Miss TiGGy sent an entire toy store full of presents! And Aka is so adorable!! Incidentally, it took me half an hour to load all these pictures - but well worth it!! Truly a huge haul!!

Aka is a Dreamhigh Studios Aka - 10.5cm (I'm so creative with my dolls' names, eh?). The majority of the DHS dolls are limiteds, and my Aka was one of only 30. His siblings in size are Lulu (same face, different ears), Mimi, and Haru (male version of Mimi, again with different ears). The current DHS limited on offer, Elvene, is 14cm and as of this morning it looks like there are only 2 left on the DHS site. There are also a pair of glowering Winter Fairies (below, right) still available on the DHS site. DHS also makes the 5.5cm Micros - Boo, Squee, etc, in an Open Edition (climbing on Jack)! They come with body blushing by default AND many can be ordered in Glow In The Dark resin (Blue or Green), as well as NS, Tan, Lilac - it just depends on the particular sculpt.

DHS has just announced a new US distributor, http://fabricfriendsdolls.excitewebpages.com/, and to celebrate the occasion has re-released a limited number of his 7cm elemental fae.

To say I adore my tiny little DHS crew is a massive understatement!

And oh my word, he really got a LOT. I love everything, especially the treasure chest! Such cool things!!

(Make sure he doesn't get too spoiled though, no matter how small, he could prove to be more than a handfull... )

Oh, do I ever wish I had a few hundred extra dollars around. I would so get one (or more) of those. But I am currently paying off a pair of Realpukis, and that will have to be it for a while.
