Box opening: AE Blueberry [IMG HEAVY!]

I considered not posting my box opening at all but I think it's worth it after all, because of the long wait. Well, four months is not too bad in this hobby, but not knowing where she was and the lack of communication were nerve-wrecking at some point... I'm glad she finally arrived safely yesterday, although today in sunny daylight I noticed that she has a lot of scratches on her head, I hope I can somehow fix/hide those!

I fell in love with this sculpt when I saw one IRL at my very first BJD convention, last Summer at Dolliverse. My boyfriend ordered her for me in November because I'd been looking forward to buying her and I kept having lots of trouble with my paychecks (that I couldn't help). After being disappointed about not being able to pay for her yet another month, he offered to buy her for me as a gift for Christmas AND our 3 year anniversary in one lol. I said I'd be okay with it if she'd be for the next three birthdays as well because of her price, but he said this combo would do XD. And here she is!! All mine!! I was afraid she'd be less of a dream doll for me after I got my first four resin kids since we bought her, but she still is the doll I've been waiting for <3

Her posing and jointing is so different from the dolls I already have. She sits like a champ. Her joints were obviously designed to do this.

I'm not an experienced BJD owner but I can already tell that this girl's body is SO different from the other dolls' I have. It poses wonderfully and I can't wait to take pictures of her!!!

I need to save up for a good camera though...

I don't know her name yet by the way. And the eyes I planned for this girl months ago, were stolen by Marcus (IH JID Ryan). The backup eyes were stolen by Wendy (Only-Doll RuoDie). I might be using the 16mm green Hujoo cats eyes I have on her...

Ooh she'd look gorgeous in those Hujoo eyes. She looks gorgeous, (XD I giggled at the massive amount of pink. My favorite color is pink actually but all of my dolls sans for Haruka and Haruhi hate it.)

She looks so adorable in her wig I can't wait to see how she looks face-upped.

I bought the black shoes for her ages ago and I'm glad they fit her so well. The white shoes were meant for Wendy (Only-Doll RuoDie), but they fall off of her feet constantly. My Blueberry has bigger feet, so they're hers now. They suit her style better anyway

I tried doing her faceup today, but I failed. Just doing her eyebrows took me hours and hours and I wiped them afterwards. I don't mind working on her and taking my time, but I had to stop because daylight was fading . I'll try again tomorrow.

I now know her name by the way, it's Anne, pronounced the Dutch way: Ah-nuhh with the emphasis on Ah.
