Had the best St. Patty's day ever. It was my fiance's birthday and we spent the day hanging out in the park with friends and then came home and grilled up some steaks and potatoes on our porch. It was a great way to spend the weekend after my first week at the new job, which is also going really well so far. Happy happy.

As it turns out I don't have to put my cat down tomorrow. This morning he was looking so much better (quite unexpectedly) I took my cat in for a second opinion today. What one vet thought might be a stroke or maybe cancer turned out to be a severe allergic reaction to a wasp sting. Apparently he'd been stung a few days ago and that's why he was so sick. Found the wasp dead in the house later. He's had some chronic health issues for a while but the other day he was so sick we all thought he was a goner. I'm so happy I could just cry with relief. I know sooner or later we will likely have to do it anyway, but it's not necessary today, and that's just AWESOME....
