what;s sad is there's evidence my family, while irish, was prolly protestant north irish >.> so I have mixed feelings.

I have people on both sides. My great grandparents came from opposite ends of the country and viewpoints. I get you, but really Irish is Irish deep in the bone. That's all that matters in the end. It's like the North and the South in the American Civil War. All the blame and resentment is probably best left behind with the bombs and uniforms, you know? Peace, all the people of Ireland finally keeping it that is all that's important.

Just won the Barbie kitchen I had as a kid on Ebay! My girls are going to be so ecstatic to have part of their home back. It even comes with the food and utensils, plus there's an extra stove which might end up in the doll house.

Today I purchased for myself a wonderful garment called a caftan. I have never been so comfortable in all of my life. That, and I feel like some sort of exotic royalty while wearing it, even if it's only for around the house.

They also look stupidly easy to make, so maybe my dolls can have some too. Would it be wrong to make them for the boys too? They may get them either way.
