Did you see the photos of those $50 heads they were complaining about? Those were FANTASTIC, yet in their opinion they were horrible. Maybe they didn't like the eyebrow height? Even then, that does not make the whole face-up horrible.

Exactly. I just don't understand why tumblr won't do anything about it. Did you tell them that blocking them isn't a solution as they're not reposting, they're stealing photo's.

I think that whole blog is actually a satire of one that I follow, that celebrates the unexpected and outlandish things that people do to their dolls. http://fyeahbjdmods.tumblr.com/ My water dragon, Seona, was featured there, back when I first completed him. October I think? But if that's the case, then unfortunately, there isn't much to be done. Satire is protected by law.

The blog that keeps picking on you though... -shakes head- It's sad, really. There were some face-ups I saw in there that actually weren't that bad. Thin, or highly arched eyebrows aren't bad, they're stylized, and if someone is willing to pay to have that kind of a face-up, then there's no reason to mock them. Everyone has to start somewhere. Personally, I love seeing progress pictures, then-and-now comparisons....

Something i didn't know. They aren't doing anything for me, but if you email them about this since you are a victim they might make an effort. It's a pain in the butt to report on Tumblr though. You have to email them at: abuse@tumblr.com

I agree, it doesn't seem like satire at all. Though it says in their disclaimer that if you want your pictures removed, to just let them know, and they will.

The problem with their disclaimer is if I didn't trawl the bjd tag I never would have seen it. As is the same for 90% of the people who's photo's have been stolen I'm sure.

If the photo's are being stolen and not reblogged then you do have a problem, I believe. Tell Tumblr they are stealing photos and that should get their attention.

The most that can be done is to ask, and if they don't remove the pictures, you can file DMCA on them. If you track down the owners of the other photos, they can do the same.

I'll fully admit I've done some awful face-ups, but I'm still learning. That's the thing about any artistic endeavor. There's always room for improvement. But if a sensitive individual found themselves featured there, then it could be a very discouraging experience.
