My Unoa Lusis/Lati hybrid finally has a face!

Postby Evelien » Sat Apr 14, 2012 3:04 pm

It took me a while, because the Unoa Lusis sculpt is hard to paint on. I felt a lot of pressure to make a worthy faceup on this girl for some reason. I wiped many a faceup before I finally was satisfied today. I have learned that less is more; I somehow can only do really basic, natural faceups. When I try to do eyeshadow, it gets really dirty and messy... I think I should just stop trying that :P

I know it's far from perfect and it needs some touching up, but here's the result for now: I'm happy with it and that's what counts <3

Thanks so much guys ^^

I'm very happy with the wig myself, I was VERY happy when I found it because it was just the right colour and model, but it's very jumpy/wild. I've tried taming it with hot water and rubber bands, but it's still very, um, well, it wants to jump up and fly away XD. That's why I posed Blue with her hands in her hair. LOL!

It looks very beautiful....She looks like she's very pleased with how she looks. The Unoa sculpt is very lovely.

I can't wait to see what she looks like with the rest of the family now, I'm getting so excited to see the whole crew now that they are all slowly getting faces! :D
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Thanks guys! Lol, Almy, the sad part is that I've wiped my Ryan's and RuoDie's faces AGAIN after countless faceup tries, it's just never good enough lol XD. Plus, I bought Ellie a new head so I'm not working on her head anymore right now... Seriously, Anne and Blue are the only ones with faces at the mo XD. I'm trying really hard but I can only do faceups on the weekends and sometimes on Wednesday/Friday afternoon and most of the times I'm really tired on all those days XD. It's so frustrating!!

She's beautiful. She looks so soft and lovely.
I like natural faceups the best. I think they're harder to do, actually, and get right.
