Dollmore Spider Queen

I am absolutely in love with this doll, even though I normally don't like all the face-scroll stuff. I hate that I'm going to sell her. *cry*

And here she is with Ivan. I thought it would be fun if she were the doll version of his "maker." Bwahahahaha!! Evil ancient vampire queen!

Oh, and check out Ivan's new face-up and body blushing. I was going to wait and unveil him at a later date but I just can't wait!!! It is something I've wanted to do with Ivan (and Micah too) for over a year but finally worked up the nerve to do it. I mailed both the boys to Arrowchild and she did an incredible job. I'm so happy that Ivan looks more dead, and I think a bit more sinister.

Hmm... maybe I won't let this one die.

Ohh....she is definitely Ivan's match! Why are you selling her? Is Ivan making you?

I was going to ask that same question. She's a really beautiful doll, why on earth are you planning on selling her????

Well, she's a limited edition fullset. Every time I pick her up I'm afraid I'll scratch the face-up or something. It's nerve-wracking and I can't relax and just enjoy her. My dolls get a lot of action with the photostories and subsequent face-plants. To keep her safe she lives in her box, and I never get to see her in the box.

If I really knew I was going to keep her I'd wipe the face and be done with it so there'd no longer be anything limited to lose. But I don't want to ruin something that's limited to 30 pieces. I finally said heck with it and put her up on the DoA marketplace. I'm going to see if I can get full price for her and use the profits to buy Jim.

She's beautiful isn't she? You almost can't blame Ivan for falling into her web.

I love the pictures of the two of them interacting. He looks completely blissed out. They have so much chemistry.
I would feel the same way about handling a limited edition doll too though.

Wow, she's beautiful. I understand your fear of damaging her though when she was so rare.

When I saw the thread title my first thought was Lolth? (bonus points for everyone getting the AD&D Forgotten Realms geek reference) She is a LOVELY doll. Pity you don't feel comfortable keeping her... she could help keep Ivan in line. ;P

:-p I think he's a bit resentful. She did turn him into a vampire after all.
