I'll miss the elastic. It usually allows for a wider variety of poses.

I can't wait for my gargoyle to arrive, she is beautiful. I'll look her over and compare her to the older dolls and the CAMs.

And I fully understand the new computer thing, that was all I got for the holidays once. If you want a Mac check Apple.com for a discount on a refurb, mine have been doing fine, and you might get more off if you trade in.

Personally I don't think they broke in a heartbeat I think the kids were more rough with the dolls then the reviews say.

Agree I have had my gloom beach draculura for 3 months and no breakage then again its because I know where her "weak" points are (in this case her thighs) and treat them a little more carefully I also use a trick when bending the knee as well.
but yeah sometimes I'll read a review and think "well how did the kid handle it then?" mixed reviews always a joy

i have not read the 100+ pages on here ♥ But, if a Monster High that has the elastic, breaks ... is it repairable? Beading elastic would be thin enough, but has anyone gotten a "broken" one all back together?

I restrung a Barbie's legs with doll elastic; it's the same principle. Flat elastic would work too. It's not hard, it's just a fiddly job.

Yean and it's pretty easy to know that with the posibillity there's gonna be issues with careless little kids and parents who decide to blame the company when it's not.

With my girls I know my GB Frankie's weakness is her left knee and with Ghoulia it's her thieghs. Avoiding those points it's fairly easy.

And Cat there's actually a repairing tutorial on Youtube for if the elastic breaks.

Your welcome. While they are not made of glass they are not made of stone either common sense says don't throw it around the room, dangle it by the leg or hair ect. don't twist the leg in a way its not suppose to go simple stuff

Also Do NOT remove the hands! I know that you Can but oh my gosh they are a Pain to get back in! I did it once and it took me an hour to get it back in using the elbow upper arm joints for dressing and un dressing is easier by far and when bending the knee hold the upper leg with one hand and with the other (and I use my thumb) Gentle bend the knee to the sitting pose bend (normal it won't go any further then that) and for the first time it will feel stiff but once you play with it it slides smoother
Also they hold poses like a dream for a play line doll can't stand on thier own unless they are leaning against something but even then its iffy

get one you won't regret it

Mine can stand on their own in their shoes just fine. I left them standing for days on end actually. Right now they're lying on my desk waiting for me to do something with them though XD
