That's when I whip out the GLUE. hahahaha... (you think I'm kidding, but oh no. I'm so lazy I use fabric glue at random.)

I feel sorry for famous people, especially as they age. Very few do it gracefully, especially if they've been sex symbols. It must be so difficult to get used to all that attention and then find it fading. Physical beauty is the most ephemeral of gifts.

I like supernatural stories and movies. The Shining is my all time favorite movie!

I never saw The Shining, because Jack Nicholson's face in the commercials was enough to scare me half to death.

Essentially there are two Shinings, the Jack Nicholas one and a later version with Steven Weber that is closer to the book. For the sake of filmdom the Jack Nicholas version is worth seeing because it's a good movie and it creates a very unsettling atmosphere. You're supposed to be scared of it and it's a good scare. The Steven Weber one is slower paced and creepier but it also works in its own way.

I feel sorta bad for people that live with cameras in their faces. I'd go crazy. If I were famous (and it's easy to say this sitting in my pajamas at 4:26 in the afternoon) but I'll say it anyway. If I were famous I think I would still exist in my jeans and t-shirts. Maybe they'd be designer jeans and designer t-shirts? But they'd still be pretty basic. I dunno, we never REALLY know what we'd do in a situation, but yeah. Jeans. T-shirts. They haven't failed me yet.

Many "stars" can go out not done up and not "on" and you'd never know who they were. Many of them wear stupid outfits just so people will pay attention to them. What projects has she done lately or what does she have coming up very soon?

Realized yesterday that despite having spent an hour looking at Mother's Day and Birthday cards yesterday I completely forgot to get a card for my cousin's shower. So I was set for May, but not this Sunday. :doh: Ran into CVS after work and somehow managed to find a shower card (with a little cartoon elephant and monkey and giraffe and lion on it), a big gift bag with a cartoon Noah's Ark on it, blue and pink tissue paper and a ribbon. To go with the blankets I got for the babies that have an elephant on one and a monkey on the other. So it totally looks like I planned it and didn't forget and wait until the last minute.

And I'd mentioned to my mom that my brother had come in and made nice with my grandparents when they dropped stuff off and she thanked him for that and he told her that he "just couldn't leave (me) alone in there." When she told me that I'd have hugged him if he was home. Sometimes my brother actually doesn't suck.
