Meanwhile, in front of a picture that's supposed to indicate a garden...
"I don't know what to do anymore Ina." Foster's shoulders dropped. "You know my brothers were corrupt. I tried to do right and I just ended up embroiled in a terrible civil war. I tried to stand up to them and this is what I got. Banished. Abandoned."
Ina said, "I am not questioning your motives, my prince. Only your..."
"My what. Go ahead and say it Ina."
"Your actions are rash my prince. Thoughtless. You charge into battle without consideration of the consequences. You worked your magic on the people of this world with little regard for their safety."
Foster raised a fist. "It was a vampire. They all deserve to die."
"And the human?"
"You like him don't you," Foster said.
"What difference does it make if I do?" Ina said, "I am bound as an acolyte to the Oracle. And you are now bound to your princess."
"What happened to us?" Foster whispered.
"Ina, Ina I'm so glad you're back. You've got to help me, I think Vargas ate Foster, we have to save him!"
"You have nothing to fear, Micah." Ina looked at her prince and then back to Micah with a sadness in her eyes. "Though I do appreciate your concern. There is much to discuss, perhaps over dinner?"
"That would be really nice." Micah's cheeks flushed.
"Yes, well. I have something to say over dinner as well." The fairy prince sighed and looked up at the rather large feet dangling over his head. "Will someone wake that miserable oaf before he loses circulation to his limbs? Really, your little escapades last night were dreadful. You should all be ashamed of yourself."
