Why is it so hard to save up money for the stuff you really REALLY want?

I wanna eventually invest in an SD and I'm starting to save up money again....But at this rate it'll take FOREVER!

Could do what I just did - and go "to hell with it!" Debt/selling off the random crud that means there is no room on any of my shelves are good incentives to finally have a clear out! (So much Lego! And Dr Who figures... And LOTR figures... And Anime figures... And just plain random stuff... Like an awful microscope and my really old Molymod sets - wth, why do I still own these? They aren't useful, they're far too big to model anything properly - cos by the time you have a decent structure going it'll be like a metre tall! ... yeah...)

I do got a bunch of video games still in the package...And some American Girl stuff but I wanna keep it since it could come in handy clothing said SD/MSD.

Aside from the one puppy who pees on the kitchen floor it's their mommy who is the biggest pain in the a$$ right now. We've closed off the carpeted rooms from the puppies so she has us up all hours with her fits because she can't sleep on the couch or get to the hall. She only wants in those places for five seconds then she wants back with the puppies but they're no longer nursing.

It's time for mom to go off for more service dog training, the puppies were never supposed to be, and us to raise our next puppy. Mommy dog is too bossy for the rest of our pet family any way which is why we're keeping mellow Blarney. Not mommy dog's fault, she's just too big of a personality for us and needs a busier household.

Woo! My hujoo arrived with the ABS a bit warped from the moulding, the back plate of the head never used to fit properly - and through the intelligent application science I fixed it!

ABS Tg =105c Boiling water ≈ 100C

Just wished I'd used common sense with the water... Spilt it EVERYWHERE

Edit: Damn - I wont be able to do that with PU resin...

Soooooooooooo, nothing gets your day going like a co-worker rushing into your office and saying "A helicopter just crashed into my brother's house!".

Actually, it crashed right between his house and the house next to his, causing more damage to the other house than his, but still, that's pretty crazy! No one killed and only the two in the helicopter were injured.

Greyhaunt Now that's crazy stuff. I know that sometimes car drivers manage to crash into houses but helicopter? o.O I'm glad that no-one died.

...So, I picked up one set of cheapish plasic patio furniture for my Realpuki's slightly worn little dollhouse.

...now I'm contemplating shingles and fresh coats of paint and flooring and adding a loft under the roof and latticework....

Suddenly this cheap little dollhouse doesn't seem so cheap anymore.

And how on earth am I going to lay the wood floors around the existing railings.
