My mother started stalking my facebook page again. Because a fifty year old woman who is on disability has nothing better to do than spy on her children... and she sent me an angry text about the vulgarity on my facebook... and I'm like...waitwhut? Apparently it's because of this picture.



And I'm like...whoa lady, you're my mom and I love you, and all, but there's a gosh darn long list of reasons I live 1200 miles away from you. One of them is because she has no sense of humor. >.>

I am glad my smother can't do much on the computer and I refuse to teach her for many many reasons, least of which I want her treating me in cyberspace the way she treats me in real life.

My worst nightmare became a reality when my parents made a facebook account for themselves. Whilst I don't use facebook I don't want them to get the jokes I use.

That takes the fun out of it...Or worse if they found my fanfictions. Ugh.

I am FB friends with my mom but fortunately she has a fairly good sense of humor about that sort of thing. Inappropriatly captioned pictures of other people, might get an eyeroll. I'd only run into real problems if the inappropriate pictures were of me, and thankfully I don't do things that would get me in trouble, and on the rare occasion that I will, there aren't cameras around. Back in my brief sorority days there was one picture from the weekend of partying after initiation that ended up there. It wasn't even *that* bad but I did get a call from Mom. I believe it went something like "glad you're having fun. Man, I miss college. You might want to untag that."

My mom has a FB acct but doesn't use it. I'm not concerned about her seeing what I put on the internet because she sends me the cute kitty photo emails and saves the more unsavory jokes for my husband. She so knows me!

I very reluctantly accepted the friend request from my stepmother. I really knew better, but I was hoping that MAYBE she had matured. After her very first comment to me (which was a snide/cruel remark that maybe my life last year would have been better if I had visited my grandparents... oops, too late) I didn't bother replying. Instant delete comment, defriend, and I will hopefully never speak to her again. My grandfather was deceased maybe three weeks at that point, totally uncalled for.

My mom is an IT specialist and she's started using Facebook only recently, plus being in an elderly home recovering from her fall (she broke her hip and shoulder about two months ago), she doesn't have much to do other than spy on her kids on FB. But as long as she's the first to "Like" my dollieh photos every time, I'm not complaining ^^

My dad has FB account but he rarely uses it. My mom is the one who occasionally puts online some photos or writes few comments. Besides there's no embarrassing stuff for my parents to see. I rarely put something on my profile.
