Hahah Treth, that made me smile. Yanagi-sen, I envy you. I wish my mother would back off a bit more. When I was having trouble with my fiance, last summer, she came down with me to help me move out... when I ultimately decided against it, (and I still feel guilty that she wasted money on plane tickets and a moving van... though she got most of the fees back from the van... x.x but she won't let me pay her back, so I'm like.... guh!), some six months later she said that she should have forced me to leave anyway. As if she had that kind of power. It was... I don't know if humiliating is the word I'm looking for, but I definitely felt SOME kind of way that she thinks she could have forced me to leave. Let's not even get into the physics of things (I'm an inch taller, about eighty pounds heavier, and healthier than she is), she assumed she could tell me "jump" and I would be in the air asking if I could come down yet.

Aaaaaand.... on a completely UNRELATED note... I am at a bit of a loss on a dollieh problem. I'm supposed to be buying a damaged ResinSoul Ming from the DoA market place. The girl I'm buying him from has 13 pages of positive feedback, and agreed to the terms of our sale/trade (I'm trading a pair of urethane eyes + money) and that I'd send her a down payment, and the rest would have to wait til I got paid. But there was a small problem with my bank card. It expired and I hadn't gotten my new one yet, so my paypal said I had to use an eCheck to send payment. I PMed her immediately, saying I could send the eCheck for my deposit, if that was ok with her. But she never responded to me. She was offline for a few days, leaving me in limbo with my deposit. Now the Ming thread has been marked as finished, she's posted bumps in some of her other threads, I still haven't heard from her, and I'm not really sure what to do. I sent her another message saying I got my card, but at this point, it would be easier to pay her the full amount when my paycheck clears, which should be Thursday... so I'm hoping she replies. I feel like it would be jumping the gun to cancel the exchange, and I don't want to flake out, when we already agreed to the sale... but it bothers me when someone can't be effed to respond, and even though she's got a lot of good feedback, it worries me... What do I dooooo?

Well, that's odd. From her perspective maybe she's afraid of being flaked on? If you send her a final message and say I've got my card sorted and can pay 100% in full or just go ahead and send the payment since the sale is agreed on, would that work? Is it safe to go ahead and send payment in these situations??

After you get paid I would contact her again saying what Treth said. Then if she hasn't responded within 4 days to a week, I'd send her one last message. In the last message I would tell her that if she doesn't respond within X-amount of time you will consider the sale cancelled. Then I would leave neutral-negative feedback. Or in your next message you could skip to the warning step. But I would not send any money without hearing from her.

Not twenty minutes ago, I decided that one of my dolls was going to change her hair (and maybe eye) color with the seasons....How crazy is that?

Get the color change rooting hair, couldn't hurt.

Blarney puppy thinks every time she comes up to me she's supposed to roll on her back and get her tummy rubbed. We actually have to break that so she stands or sits and can go on with her service dog training.

Well, the message I sent her last night said that it would be easier to send the full amount in two days, so there's less paypal fees, (which I offered to cover) and that I need her shipping address to send the eyes out as part of the trade. It was three hours after her last post on the forum, so I'm hoping she responds to me tonight; that seemed to be when her replies most often were. But she marked the Ming as sold, without replying to my last PM, so I'm wondering if she marked it for me, or if someone else bought him, and she just didn't tell me... -headdesk- If she really wants payment immediately, I can cash my check and deposit the cash (and have to pay a check cashing fee, which I'm trying to avoid) so it clears same-day.
