Hopscotch Hill Dolls

I don't know if anyone else remembers these dolls, but Pleasant Company (the company that puts out American Girl) came out with a series of articulated, child proportioned, 16" dolls a few years back. They're retired now, but I'm wondering if anyone ever had one. They look like they might have been strung, with joints in the knees and elbows since the bodies looked very poseable.

I'm also wondering how you all think they would work as a body substitute for a floating resin head. They're really expensive new, but you can find ebay listings for around 20 or 30 dollars.

Here's an Amazon listing of one of the dolls for reference.

It would not work out well. The bodies aren't worth it to me, not enough pose-ability even if it could fit.
First Resin BJD Birthdate: 8/06/12...She is now for sell. PM for Resinsoul Li (going cheap, negotiable) for sale! (Keep incase fall thru)

I remember seeing them in the AG catalogs. I always wanted one but never got one. By the time I was more in to posable dolls they were discontinued. :(
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.
