I know they're not going to hurt me, but having them in the house would be extremely disgusting if you ask me..! Other than that, I know my fear of (certain) bugs is irrational, but yeah... don't more people have such irrational fears? ;)

But yeah, my boyfriend said it's not a cockroach, so I'm trying not to worry ;)

Oh I'm terrified of them! Bugs is general but especially large ones and spiders really freak me out. I've gotten to the point where I can calmly walk out of the room and find my fiance to go take care of it. I'm completely useless when it comes to things like this. They're not going to hurt anyone but I'm still going to (sometimes) scream and (always) runaway. I'm just good at repeating what people have always told me to get me to calm down. :D

This is why everyone needs to own cats. I actually pity the bugs that make it into my house. Large or small, they have just become a cat toy/possible snack.

We keep getting these things in my house http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhaphidophoridae creep me out so hard. Always looks like a spider at first. ::shudder::
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Yes, cats find cockroaches a delicacy. They are so generous, too. Occasionally they leave one or more legs in the bathtub.
And those are crickets, Almy. Some people actually keep them for pets because of the sounds they make (think late summer/early autumn evenings). They're actually supposed to bring good luck.

We just tell the little white dog or one of the cats 'bug bug!' then kick back and watch nature take its course.

I'm not really a bug person, but the majority of bugs don't freak me out haha. I actually like those cave crickets! LOL! We didn't have them at my house/yard until I one day I was at my dad's and I needed something for extra credit (it was mandatory) in Biology. I caught a whole bunch of them at my dad's and put them in a jar. After school was over I was at my house and didn't know what to do with them, so I let them out in the backyard. Many years later they've got a decent population going under the porch.

The ones that wander in usually become cat snacks though. xD

Cockroaches are filthy, contaminate your food and can spread diseases like salmonella.

Cockroaches don't bother me appearance-wise, but yeah, they're filthy little critters. I prefer disease spreading vermin stay outside. Thankfully they aren't exceptionally common in houses in my neck of the woods.

House millipedes, on the other hand, are a common guest in my home. Fun fact: they can shed their legs when they want to! That's a wonderful thing to randomly find in your bathtub.

Aren't they just too cute?
