I've been making some nightshirts for my dolliehs - Saffron and Misty - from the undead thread pj pattern. Ok they are not quite finished and I see its skew on my sprite, but you can get the general idea.
For Misty (grey RS Dai), I cut and sewed the pattern without altering it. I decided next time I will make it longer, but will be making a pj pants for her to wear with this.
My bbb sprite, Saffron (mature body) - I reduced the pattern to 70% and lengthened it - it fits nicely, but I had to undo the cuffs so her hands could fit through. I decided that next time I will reduce the pattern to 80% and see how that fits (will also lengthen it so it is not too short).
