1/4th scale dog?

Postby Linteia » Fri May 18, 2012 1:06 am

Aisling is asking for a pet, specifically a dog. I know Parabox makes 1/6th scale pups which are really awesome, but is there anyone who makes 1/4th or even 1/3rd scale dogs? If not, would one of the Parabox ones work as maybe a smaller breed for a 1/4th? Bonus question, are there any other similar kinds of posable pets in the larger scales? (If you could tell me where to find a ferret I would give you all the cookies in the universe.)

The only ferret I know of comes with one of the Delilah Noir dolls, and sometimes you can find it on eBay. How well, or even whether, it poses, I don't know.

A woman always has half an onion left over, no matter what the size of the onion, the dish or the woman.

Yeah, ferrets seem to be a little underloved. :/ (I honestly though the DN one was a dog.)

a hobby shop near here has artists models of animals (wood though). half-decent motion range in them. i''ve seen a cat and a crocodile one, thou they probably make a range of animals. they were a pretty decent size, probably msd compatable, SD for a smaller pet.
kinda like these (though this site doesnt give measurements)

you could probably take a stuffed toy, and frankenstine a bendable wire frame into it, or for ball joints maybe somehing made from kinects?
