From the very beginning when I was putting Klar together as a character and as a doll, I decided to let him figure out how he wanted to be put together. Aside from his name, the only idea I wanted to force on him was "bright, glowy blue eyes". The Eyeco pair I had with his vinyl were lovely, but they only really glow when flash is used.

I read somewhere that urethane eyes are the best when it comes to looking glowy, so I grabbed the first blue pair I could find for Klar's resin form.



The seller never told me what brand it was, but I figure it's either Everpurple or Enchanted Doll. The eyes looked lovely on Klar, but they weren't quite as bright as I had envisioned.



So hunting around some more, I found these Dollshe urethanes. When they arrived and I popped them into his head, I realized... it gave him this piercing glare.



And depending on the angle I look at him, he tends to look devious. And a little scary, too.

Klar: I could kill you in your sleep. When? Well... let's just say it could be now, or it could be eventually.



So, back to the original urethane eyes he started with, I guess. XD



Klar: Hmmm? What's that? You want a strip tease? I suppose so, but I'm really not in the mood.

Sometimes what we want isn't necessarilly what the doll wants and they DO tell us, don't they, if they want something different. Funny, but I went through the same thing with Sherris - I wanted beautiful light blue eyes for her, but every pair I bought was wrong. Eventually i settled for a pair, but I never really liked them - then at CCBJD I found HER eyes - and they are perfect I think you've done a great job with Klar, and those eyes are magnificent

Shelly on DoA has some glow in the dark eyes. My Azazel has the pink ones and they seem to glow even when it's not dark.

I think Klar clearly indicated that he wants to keep his current eyes, so I'm not going to try tossing more eyes his way. Thanks for the link, though!

he looks pretty good all evil though! at least he only had you buy 2 pair! it could have taken a dozen before he was happy.

Klar does have very striking eyes. I have to admit to liking the first pair better, as I think they look more realistic. I guess I was lucky that I really like the first pair I got Dess.
