How hard is it to take down Deadtired Draculaura's pigtails?

Postby Princess_Sarah_Em » Mon Aug 29, 2011 4:30 pm

I just got one at Walmart and I hate how poofy her hair is. How hard is it to get it to lay down?

Her pig tails are just wrapped in a tight spiral, take out the rubber band and they'll hang flat. She does have gel on that washes off easily.

To really set the hair style it and hold it in place with rubber bands. Pour a cup of boiling water over her head then let it cool and dry while still set. Don't use a hair dryer, just sit her on a towel and rest.

Actually when we took my Draculaura's hair down, it still wanted to stick straight up! We did a steam job on her and got it to lay almost flat. Another round or two should get it down. She looks very cute with her hair down flat. It has a nice layered look. So it's pretty easy to get it down. Remove the ponies and steam it. Just brush the direction you want while steaming her hair and it should work well!

Cheers,
Naomi

The hair on my Draculaura wanted to stand up too. It took three or four goes with boiling water but it eventually went down. However, there's a few spots where there is gaps in the rooting, but since it's painted black, it's not too noticeable.

Haha I ended up just removing her hair and giving her a wig, but she did look cute while she had it.
