A bit late to the question here, since I hadn't seen this thread, but anyway...
Are you referring to DF-A or DF-H?
I have a DF-A MSD boy. I can't speak to the specific sculpt that you're referring to, but I can speak to DF-A in general. Overall, I've found my MSD boy to be very solid and stable. His body is actually boyish. In other words, it's not curvy. He's exceptionally stable. I can get him to stand on one foot without support. His face-sculpt could have been done better (his eyes are a little googly), but it's good overall. The resin seems to be extremely solid. Posing ability is first-rate, except for the wrists, which are ludicrously stiff. His other joints move smoothly and stay in place very well.
The company face-up is kind of meh. I'm going to re-do mine. He looks like he hasn't slept in three days.
Best thing about DF-A is that they are open to custom sculpting. When I went to order my Wind, I asked on a complete whim if they would be willing to put elf ears on him. To my utter astonishment, they said yes. Now it's a standard option.
So, the face is decent, the doll is very well made, and they are open to new ideas. I give them a thumbs up.
