Major Barbie Sale This Week At Target

Buy one get one at 1/2 off, all Barbie brand stuff. There's a lot of new Barbie stock too. Some stuff I've never seen before. But no new Fashionista boys yet. Maybe not such a loss sans the articulation. I picked up a purple shirt Fashionista Ryan with nice hair (Finally!) and another Fashionista Kayla. (I don't care what they call her. She's NOT Raquelle. She's a Kayla!) I'm going to try a second repaint on her lips. I don't like that frosted pink much but last time the repaint was only so-so and I ended up giving her body to a Basics Kayla. Hopefully I can do better this time. Except for the lip color she's really cute. But she can't go up on the shelf with the dozen Kaylas I've got till her lips are better and she needs a new outfit. The one she has on? Not a major favorite except for the silver shoes.

I was tempted to get the last two Stardolls I don't have but I really don't like the two other open mouth sculpt girls very much. The redhead is okay but mostly I prefer the girls with the closed mouths. The eyes on those last two are a bit weird. They're sort of big eyed like they are startled. It's too bad because I would have liked to have an AA Stardoll. I thought about getting them anyway just to have a complete first run set but in the end I decided not. Other than the pink sparkle shoes which I am rather envious of I'm not really into their outfits much either. $15 is just too much to spend just to get a pair of shoes I like though, laugh.

No MH dolls except for that Gloom Beach 5 pack. I'm really looking hard for the cat and witch design your own monster kit for my niece. She's crazy to have that one and the one with the boys but so far no luck and I'm just not spending $45 for it. I sometimes see the one with the vampire and the sea monster one but that's it so far. They're still scalping dolls here, sigh. The minute I see those kits on Amazon for what they should cost I'm buying them though. The other kits are widely available and a lot cheaper and so are many of the dolls that were jacked up a few weeks ago. I'm just going to wait. I have a feeling they'll be $20 on there soon enough...

look at big Targets for the CaM sets, that's the place where I've found them.

I checked both today, big and small Target, nothing, and that's pretty normal here. They barely land on the shelf they're gone here. There are half a dozen sets on out local CL right now. People are scalping them for $40.
