That's the new Ryan and I haven't seen him locally at all as yet though I have seen him on Ebay and Amazon. There's a new Ken too but I haven't seen him yet either. Not much articulation now though I don't think. The listing is gone on Amazon but it was there. The Ken is still there...

I love my new purple shirt Ryan. Maybe it's just me but I could swear he looks less like a Ken than the previous Ryan's did and more like a new character. First time they've had him sans the stick up hair too. Love that. I hate that look with a passion. I've had to re-root 3 Ken dolls in the past few years because Mattel insists upon making their Fashionista Ken dolls with "trendy hair" and double parts. This particular Ryan has absolutely PERFECT hair, with nice bangs, and no face paint glitches. 10 purple shirt Ryan dolls later I finally have one that's pretty. Yay! Now I can go re-root the older Ryan I have and do something with his hair. He might have to wait a bit though. I'm still working on my 3 red headed Kens a year later. I'm slow on Ken re-roots I will admit. I get distracted. Too much to do around here lately, not enough time for doll projects.
