>_> I ended up buying the Vampire/Sea Monster CAM pack at walmart the other day... I had a couple of floating MH bodies anyway, since I put Ataraxia on a different body and ruined my werewolf girl's head...
So now I have a girl made out of vampire/dragon/skeleton parts and a girl made out of sea monster/werewolf parts. <_< They both claim to be dragons, though...
Has anyone else had a problem getting the CAM wigs to go on the heads? >_> honestly, Liv wigs with the pegs removed seem to fit them better than their own wigs do.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@
My 5 year old niece think MH dolls are "ugly." My niece has no taste. lol She then turned my the dolls I worked on and said the same thing. Ouch. Damn kids these days.

I originally had a lot of trouble with the wigs. Now I pinch the CAM head between my fingers (applying pressure to the cheeks, if that makes sense), put on the wig and then release the pressure. The wigs fit well and stay on with this method.

>_> I don't know why, but all my monster girls seem to have paired off into couples with each other... (Except for Nova and Ataraxia, who are on non-MH bodies.)
Standing couple: Scapula (CAM vampire/dragon/skeleton) and Gwendolyn (CAM werewolf/sea monster)
Sitting couple: Viscera (Skull Shores Lagoona) and Clara (Skull Shores Frankie)

I'm moving soon and mom's worried about how to pack my MH dolls. like, she doesn't worry about anything else I own, but we are going to pack those dolls like they are fragile because that's where my "heart" is.
Those cardboard dividers they pack bottles in? Nice and tomb like...
When I moved my dolls were just put in a plastic tub or the square cloth drawers I keep them and their stuff in. The only ones I worried about were the resins who went in their shipping boxes with their pillows. I moved my dolls myself so I knew where they were and no one got hurt. You could nest them in packing peanuts like it's a giant ball pit.
I'd use thin bubble for those. Those dainty hands are so breakable. Wrap them once with the hands over the wrap, then wrap again the whole thing again. That keeps them tight against the body and less likely to break. I usually put a layer of corn or styro peanuts under and a sheet of bubble in like a cocoon. I wrap each doll individually but not with a lot of bulk and stack them opposite ways so they fit well and there's no room for them to move. When the box is near full I do the same. Throw a piece of bubble on top and a few loose peanuts. May sound like overkill but I don't mess around when it comes to fragile dolls. My dolls have been shipped hundreds of miles and have survived well because of it. I'll take chances with a lot of things but the dolls and the camera gear, never. I ship a lot of breakables in my towels and stuff actually. Kitchen stuff, knick knacks but the dolls and cameras get the A-list treatment. It's just not worth saving the $$$ on bubbles to risk losing them.
