Tron Done! (for now)

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Tron Done! (for now)

Postby Gift_in_Edge » Thu Jun 14, 2012 7:21 pm

Ugh! This is what I've been working on for a week or so and I'm only half way done. At first I thought I was going to do straight on Tron's Uprising outfit. I had some small mishaps and decided to do a mix of classic and new.
(IPad pictures for now)

This is on my third try. First was one layer and second was two layers but too tight. Might resew the cuffs again.

When it came to the shoes I was at a loss. So I tried to make something like the classic boots.

Still figuring out the back. It works well up until the collar. Once I'm finished with that I get to decorate. Oh boy!

Wow that looks great so far! Way to go! <3
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Very nice work. Is that flannel? It looks so soft. I love the boots.

Thanks everyone! I'm using 4way dance fabric.

I finished the back yesterday. Now to decorate! I've been thinking maybe iron-ons.

Oh wow. I can't wait to see the decorations. Have you considered maybe using fabric pens?

Not sure how sharp the lines would look. I some leftovers I can test on though. :)

If pens don't work, you could try fabric paint maybe. Because it doesn't soak in it may give you more the look you're going for.
