The real Ellie Tulling.

Postby Evelien » Wed Jun 20, 2012 1:50 pm

I have something to confess. I named my very first BJD, an Angell-Studio Leira, Ellie... just because it was a character I'd had in my head for YEARS. But, to be honest, the Leira sculpt never suited the Ellie I had in my head. She was an Ellie, but not the Ellie Tulling I'd always dreamed of. Today, the Ellie Tulling from my stories came alive in my new (adopted) Souldoll Asen <3. THIS is what I've always known she should look like. She needs a wig, but I already love her. I'm conflicted about her company faceup though. I always do them myself, but I could never ever do it as pretty as this one... Until I'm sure, it'll stay ;)

Meet the real Ellie Tulling... bald for now :)

Yay grats on your new girl, she has such a stunning face! <3
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

That's a very pretty face. :3 And I know that feeling. I wanted my first big girl to be a character I have dreamed of for a long time but the sculpt doesn't really suit her (although I love Haruka head) and I ended up with original character. ^^;

Thanks so much guys ^^. I can't find the perfect wig for her, so I'm gonna try and make one myself (for the very first time, no idea what to do lol) from wool :)

They're cute aren't they? ^^ They're so perfect and half-elfey ;)

I'm working on her wig right now. I bought brown Eco Alpaca wool and I love it <3

Souldoll does the most amazing face sculpts. Really beautiful!

And I have given up on trying to pre-determine who my dolls are going to be. At this point I have been wrong and frustrated by trying to make them into someone they refuse to be so many times, that now I just fall in love with a sculpt but then let the doll tell me who he/she is going to be when they get here.

You're so right. :) But now that I have found "the" right Ellie, everything seems to come together :).
