Hybrid dilemma: need feedback!

Postby Evelien » Sun Jun 24, 2012 9:37 am

I was working on a faceup on my new Unoa Sist-faceplate, blushing her to put her on my Lati Blue-body, when I realized I could also put her on my MinoruWorld Jr body (which is about 33cm tall, in between YoSD and MSD size). The problem is: I'm in love with the idea, but not sure about the result. I need feedback. In some pictures/positions the hybrid works and in some it doesn't. The Minoru body has a tendency to slouch and when it does that, the neck disappears completely and it looks wrong.

What do you guys think..? I really want this hybrid to work, but if it doesn't, it doesn't...

X-posted on DoA and a Dutch BJD forum to get as much feedback as possible, sorry.

I like the proportions. Could you suede the neck in front so it doesn't disappear when she sloches?

Hmm...I think it might look better on the Lati body personally but that's just me. Go with your gut instinct Evelien.

I think it looks cute on the Minoru body! Those Unoa heads are so tiny... I'm surprised that the scaling works so well, myself! I don't even think the neck looks that odd, but like richila said, I think some sueding would help the over-enthusiastic head movement.

Do you have pics of the head on the Lati body? I don't know how drastic the difference is...

I decided to put the head on the Lati body, because the head is a bit too big for this body :(.

I don't have a pic yet. I'll take one soon.

I'm glad you went back to the Lati body, it just looked waaay too bobble headed in my opinion. (And I eve like those huge Bobobie heads). :P

I like them both either way, on the smaller body she just looks like an unoa chibi. I'm going to have to get me an L-bi one of these days.
