I'm planning for two male 1/3 dolls to house my characters- one customed fave character and the other an OC. Only the OC has a specific sculpt while I'm picking out various sculpts so that I could eventually narrow it down to one. I'm curerntly referencing store/owners pics to see how much of said guy is in the sculpts shortlisted.

If anything I'm saving up so I can purchase one of them next Mar-Apr.

Already have I images of them in my head doing their intros. For some reason I want to dress all 3 of my big dolls up in trenchcoats and fedoras

If I have another doll in that size I start making clothes for them. ^__^ If I don't, I'll make things that don't depend on size. Waiting for my first one, I made a 1/4 scale futon mattress and sheets and such.

Yeah, start with stuff that doesn't necessarily depend on personality; bed, other furniture, something to keep the clothes in... there are some good tutorials on making furniture out of things like cardboard, hot glue, stuffing and fabric. You can also make simple clothing pieces that aren't totally size dependent like kimono and wrap skirts and stuff like that.

I make clothes if I have access to a doll of similiar size or can find a pattern to alter and plan out face ups and other general designs for them. And on the longer waits, I usually break down about two weeks before it arrives and buy another doll that will ship immediatly. That's a bad habit though and one that I can't recommend. Although, I did end up with some really awesome dolls that way.

I'm planning the arrival photo story for Dr Elebenty, the gathering of all the other Doctors, the Who fort and Kenny watch, how to get rid of the 11 stand in...

I've been waiting since 11-11-11 for him to arrive at the store so shipping immediately doesn't work :/

I usually just act giddy and excited, but this most recent time, for Zeebee, I made some clothing in advance.
