Thanks. You should try one, it's not impossible but you'll have to think hard.

I tried something similar to this once a few years back, but it was nothing compared to this. I used large wooden beads we had lying around, and made a Samus Aran doll for my brother. She had wires inside of her and was able to move, but she wasn't nearly as complex as this. But I don't think I could do what you're doing. Thinking hard isn't really my strong point right now.

Awesome work Kim. Having tried my hand at sculpting (ahem) I know it should NOT be underrated. It's hard work!!

I've been sitting on the Cernit and not my thumbs, the adventures of asking the company about why it won't behave later.

Sid is coming along. I mixed the Living Doll with the left over Super Sculpey I used on Pete. On the left is the new skin tone, about 4 parts beige Living Doll and 3 parts beige Super Scupley to 1 part dark Living doll. On the right is the old tone which was 2oz dark and 1 pound beige Living doll.

If all goes as planned Sid will be finished today.

The 2 part body is off to the parts box, by the end of this I might have an interesting patchwork leftover.

As for Apoxie Sculpt I'm making a Cardassian which naturally comes in AS Natural. I might make a different one, or at least a head, out of Miliput yellow-grey. All the rest of my stuff is "flesh" or white.

I wanted to get his features right before I put most of the ridges on. When he's finished all he should need are his eyes painted.

Sid being SId had some problems with his first few heads, hopefully this one will work when its finished. Still needs the forehead and such but I wanted to cure what was working so it couldn't get accidentally squished.

And a bit further on Garak.

Short of his head cap Sid is as done as he's gonna get right now. It's a let's spend some time apart for a bit time. I'm happier with him than with Pete. I think I want to tweak the neck so the head sits better.

And Garak is closer to being done, the snag is the hips and getting the tummy potato to sit right in them.

It's back to the engineering board before I make the next one. There are things like the hips and knees I want to work out a bit better. Each one I feel happier about, there isn't much on Sid I'd redo outside of his chest to make the shoulders sit a bit differently but I want to dress him first. Also I need to figure a different way to string/wire to get them to stand a bit better.

Still need to do the head caps, just waiting on the patches on Garak's neck and shoulder to dry before putting him together.

And yes I know SId looks a bit bug eyed :/
