Hubster is always amazing (but I'm biased :P). Most of his awesome lately has been in the form of cold goodies during the heat wave we're having, but today he presented me with Genesis box when I got home. It wasn't supposed to be here for a few more days, so I'm tickled.

Hubs always encourages me to do more with dolls and will generally never tell me no to one, within reason. Sometimes I tell myself no and he's like, "No. you're getting it." <3 Happy 3rd wedding anni. to him :3

My fiance (though honestly, we've been together for 7 years, so I go back and forth between calling him hubby and fiance, and very rarely boyfriend) is a little weird about the hobby, but he's likes to brag about my face-ups and doll clothes.... even though I told him I'm really only mediocre compared to some amazing artists out there. Still it's nice to hear "You should see the shit she does with these dolls!" to his friends.

My hubby just walked into my work room about five minutes ago and, completely out of the blue, said: "If I ever got a ball jointed doll, you know what it would be? A Bobobie. And I would make it look like Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo so when people asked, i could say I had a Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo Bobobie."

:D

Not sure if I think he's awesome for bringing up BJD on his own or for coming up with something so ridiculous...in any case...awesome he is!

I have no hubby. After watching my siblings divorce half a dozen times I have totally eschewed the state of marriage, but my one brother brings me Barbie dolls just because sometimes. So does my Dad once in a while. Usually it's because I've been working my arse off for them on something but sometimes it's for no reason at all. We all went to Walmart yesterday. Major trip and I drove and did most of the work. Dad offered to buy me a Barbie but there just wasn't much on the shelves that I wanted. No MH, no new Fashionista stuff. He'd already bought me the auction stuff besides so I declined. I think that the mystery outfit, which I am almost certain is the Grease Sandy outfit, is due today. I haven't decided if I am going to keep them both or not. I have two copies of it if it is that outfit. I'm opening an Etsy shop and an Artfire shop this weekend. Might put it up for sale there. I'm not really sure if I can or not. I think maybe so on Etsy at least. I need to read the TOS on both places a bit more closely, see what I can sell there and what I can't.

Etsy either has to be handmande or vintage, otherwise you might get flagged as a reseller. But maybe the doll outfit is old enough you could say vintage? Which I think is like 10-20 years old to count.
