All she ever did in my direction is ask me about cameras and lenses. I do think she was a kid though. She really sounded like it to me in the IM's.I really don't think she was trolling. I think she was just a little clueless sometimes a really self oriented sometimes abrupt kid with no manners.

I tend with the kid theory myself - which still doesn't mean she hadn't read "50 Shades", but obviously wouldn't have understood it (and no, I haven't read it - not my cup of tea LOL).

On the flip side, nothing like a little troll drama to shake things up a bit and make a few lurkers (KD!!) come out of the woodwork and prove they are still alive LOL. As for Den of Angels - I sent her an invitation to sign up there shortly before I ripped her a new one in one of the threads. I genuinely hope she signs up there because they won't put up with her attitude long either.

Den of Demons...lol...my gosh, is DOA really that bad? Not having a BJD I've never really paid much attention to the place but sometimes you all make me wonder. I had heard they could be snotty about which dolls are really BJD's but that's about it.

Den of Demons is a different forum then Den of Angels, it's smaller and more cliquey and has different rules, you either have the want to hang out there or you don't give a hoot.

DOA isn't that bad if you don't get in too deep, you can keep abreast of company events, who problem traders are, and get useful user pics of dolls before you buy. Just be ready for a lot of special snowflakes floating around.

Personally, because of the oddness with the IP address and the brand new, unused email address, I am going with the "creepy unsocialized 40 year old living in a basement."

Postings were all between 8-9 AM and midnightish CST. Those are North American hours, not European, unless DD was a night owl.
Oddness with having a Munich IP address, yet having the grasp of North American colloquial English.
Oddness with having a brand new email address from Hushmail which (oh hold back your surprise) specializes in email accounts for those who don't want you to find out who they really are. A brand new email address from Hushmail? For a DOLL BOARD? REALLY?
Oddness with having a grasp of English writing, spelling, and grammar which is far above that of most of the kids I see posting on doll boards.
So I am going for the lonely troll with bad breath living in a basement. Might be in Germany, an expat or military. WAY more likely to be 300 lbs, in the US, with some basic ability to hide his ID. I do have to wonder, Grey, because your email account was hacked right when DD showed up....

LOL - I don't think she/he/it had anything to do with the hack - I think it was lax security at my ISP
