Sheer damned manliness

Postby Geektopian » Wed Mar 24, 2010 10:08 pm

So, I used this photo to illustrate some long-winded diatribe or another over at my blog a while back. That means it's very likely nobody else but me has seen it. Anyway, a few of my GI Joes who may have left government work for, shall we say, that private sector.

But if they are in the private sector why do they still have their uniforms?

Camouflage is useful in their business. ;)

And here's Col. James "J.D." Wallace, founder and leader of this little "business endeavor".

Not everything here is manly.... A photo of Meg with some of her team.

And SFC Campbell (same guy seen in the center of the first pic) also in desert camo.

These two photos came from a series of shoots I did last year and posted over at 13 Doll.

And people wonder why Barbie always preferred to date Joe rather than Ken!

SFC Campbell reminds me of GI JOE's Duke.

I'm sorely lacking a cliched military guy for the Team, he's been on preorder for so long that I'm wondering if he's afraid of getting owned by a bunch of 'girly' dolls

You know, I'd never really considered that but he does look like Duke. I actually have an "official" Duke head sculpt on one of these same bodies. Maybe I need to dig him out and do something with him.

Ooooo... which military guy do you have on order? The lone cliched military guy is always great for comic relief and he just might find romance among all those girly dolls. Uh, I mean, supposing he's in to that kind of thing... you know, "don't ask, don't tell"!
