I just finished reading a graphic novel that I'd picked up and then got busy and forgotten I owned. I was reminded by something unrelated, and finally read it. And it just hit me.

THAT IS THE ACTUAL ENDING.

...and it is marvellous. Unexpected, I mean I sort of expected somebody to survive if only to angst forever, but it really works for the story.

The worst ending I've read in a book was from the Animorphs. The last line in the book is literally "Ram the ship." and it ends. The outlook is absolutely hopeless, there's no resolution (there was at the beginning of the book but that all got unraveled at the end). I got so mad I screamed and threw the book in anger...

Also doing 3 face ups in a row is a bad idea. I'm going to redo one of them because I don't like it (it was the last one). I learned from my mistake. I won't redo her face up though until I get her her proper wig and eyes.

On another note, Val got his leather coat finally, and he thinks he's the bomb now (which he is).
