Or maybe she's saying "Heellllllp meeeeee!" lol!

Yes, my poor dolls, they are constantly subjected to abuse.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words!

Beautiful pictures!! Even if you put me in the location with all the supplies I think I would be far too nervous. I'd either somehow knock over the doll, drop the camera, or somehow drown myself.

Thank you! But actually, it was pretty nerve-wracking. I used my #2 camera, a Canon G-11, instead of my "good" camera (a Canon Eos Rebel 3t-i) just for that reason. What you can't see is that under the water there are hidden rocks, covered with seaweed, that are VERY slippery! Plus the swells would come in, randomly about 2 feet, so I would have to hold the camera high above my head to prevent it from getting wet. I had on the farmer-johns (the over-all part of a wetsuit) but not the straps on, so when the water was high enough it would come in over the top and down into my wetsuit. THAT is always a thrill, lol- the water is cold here.
The boat held up pretty well, and I had Mary's hands attached to the sides of the boat with clear silicon bands, so she was pretty secure. The boat had an anchor, plus my "assistant" hanging onto a guideline of fishing line that I photo-shopped out if necessary.

I took 190 shots, and was in the water for about an hour, then more shots on the beach. During the winter I am alone on the beach, but since it is summer, I had a number of on-lookers. Nice, but they all want to ask questions, etc. "Normal" people have never seen these dolls so they have a lot of questions about them. I have postcards I hand out with my email address.

If we went out to the shore more, I would say I need a boat now. But, unf! Love that Mary in the boat! Wonderful pictures.
