If your paypal is hooked into a bank account, just make sure the account has money and then paypal will take it right from there. If it is hooked to a credit card, paypal will charge the card. OR, you can put money into the paypal account first. I never do. I have a checking account that is ONLY for paypal, I keep a small balance in there, $50 or so, then if I buy something the money is instantly available for paypal. If I know I'm going to make a larger purchase, I'll transfer money into that account first. I don't keep a balance in paypal itself, but then I don't sell. I want my money in my bank accounts, earning ME interest. ^___^ Just don't use the paypal credit option. A friend had LOTS of problems with them over it.

If you decide to put money in your account though, you should know that you can't just retrieve any amount back from there. I think the minimum is $10 or €10.

And Pay Pal will do conversions to Yen and Euros but before you do check the current exchange rate so you have a ball park figure.
