Depends on the type, temporal lobe people are fine with flashing, but in general it's not that great unless you have a warning.

There is a gecko crawling on my wall. While I'm glad to see the increase in lizards running around in my house (though I am scratching my head as to how they get in) as they will help combat the infestation we are STILL fighting, I do worry about all the chemicals we've been spraying making the little guys sick.

He (she?) is currently poking his (her?) head out from under the speaker above my desk and watching me. It's the cutest little thing. Hahah and it just backed up under the speaker again.

Yes, I love reptiles and amphibians. Some people are grossed out by them, but I love em. My mother says when I was younger, I used to run around after a rainstorm and collect the little "hoppers" as I called them (pinky-nail sized frogs) that were about, and put them in a jar.

We have hunting spiders to combat the same problem. Doesn't bother us because we like spiders. I have a couple favorites, one in my office and one in the server room/guest room.

Hooray for reptile love! Do you know what species they are? I'd love to see pics! We have several turtles and tortoise babies, as well as a frog we're rehabbing. We have mouser cats that combat most invaders.

And something I found out that is both confusing and completely aggravating: Micheal Ironside will no longer be voicing one of my absolute favorite video game characters, Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell. Ubisoft already alienated me with Conviction, now I definitely have lost interest in the series. ARG!!! Why must they fix something when its not broken?

We have House Centipedes! But I would rather have geckos.

You know what's weird? I got a string of solar powered garden lights for my window. It got dark around 9:30ish...it's now 1:06Am and they're still shining pretty bright. The solar garden stakes on the back deck usually don't stay so bright for that long.

I know spiders are good for catching the unwanted bugs but... I wish I could make a contract with spiders to do that OUTSIDE my house and not inside :<
