Echo's new dresses

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Echo's new dresses

Whew, just spent the majority of the last 3 days on that blue/green dress to match Faye's. The lace tube dress with grey lining was a quicky I made before i started the other dress.

I should have taken more pics of the ruffley dress though because you can't see the waist. It's got a kind of corseted waist with a ruffle sticking up at the top and down at the bottom of it and then the ribbon in in the middle. Maybe I'll take another pic later to try to show it better.

Ooh, i love how they match! And that lace onesie is nice, but the darts on the bust look a bit off, like they are two close together.

Still want one for my dolls, though.

Thanks Evelien! :D

In the pic the dress is slightly askew, but also it's not terribly tight, so the darts in the front under the bust and the front darts above the bust look like they are running together in a single fold when they aren't.

That's a strip of stretch lace from Suntek hehe. I really like the stuff. Wish they had it in more colors.

They both look great but I especially love the first one! She looks really great in the ruffles. And I'd love to see some pics of Faye's little dress on her own. She looks so adorable!

Oh I had posted Faye's dress in her thread a while back hehe

But here it is again:

I really liked the idea of the hem and wanted to try it again on a larger scale, plus that blue/green is one of my favorite colors so I wanted to use the material again too, thus matching mama and baby dresses hehe.

Echo's just stunning in those dresses, especially the blue one. Love the ruffles! And that's a gorgeous bow on the front! It's a great matching outfit to little Faye's.

Thanks so much you all :D that's encouraging.
I'll probably do a few simple things soon.
Been doing some experimenting here lately.

don't want to do anything big or fancy till my expensive dolls get here.
