Anyway, major requests were to have a forum for Doll Reviews and a sub-forum for the Doll Questions. Historically we here at DS have been rather reticent to add new forums for a couple of reasons. One is that we are small, and we like to be small - the more forums you start adding the bigger things get and then you have a cumbersome beast that is a nightmare to manage, chaos reigns, cats and dogs start living together.....oops, channeling my inner Ghostbuster there. Getting back on track, the second reason is that we've seen, in other forums, how new sections get added and then after a period of enthusiasm interest sort of peters off and you end up with forums full of cobwebs.
However, Evelien had a point when she noted that while there is a general talk area (Let's Talk) there isn't really a general talk area that is doll specific. And so after much thought, and discussion with other members of management (mods, that is, I do not have multiple personalities) it was decided to add a Dollieh Talkin' forum. You'll notice I've already added it, at the top of the Dollieh Chatta area, and I've even already moved a whole bunch of obviously doll related threads over there from the Let's Talk area. I only went back to the beginning of 2012 BTW, since it would take ages to do all of them. And I'm sure I left behind some doll stuff in Let's Talk, but that's ok if anyone desperatly wants it moved I'll move one.
So anyway, I hope that this compromise will be be ok with everyone and that it works out well - cause I sure don't want to move all that stuff back
