PerlaNemesis, your kitten is sooooo pretty and adorable <3

Our kittens can be like tornados when they're in 'energetic mode'. They've run past you three times before you realize what's going on, they're that fast :P

Basically, our kittens have three settings:
- energetic mode (high speed playing and running, no picking up or cuddling allowed)
- attention mode (this is when they won't leave us alone until we pick them up to cuddle them non-stop. letting go of them will result in loud meows)
- coma mode (a long-lasting deep sleep. no interest in playing on cuddling for hours on end)

Thanks. ^^ My kitty also has energetic and coma modes and instead of attention mode there's food mode. She loves the sound of food being filled in her bowl. :D

Oh, I forgot about food mode. :P Interest in food is always present. They're so stupid. Whenever I want to lure them anywhere, I shake the food container. Their current mode doesn't matter, they'll always come running, even if there was still food in their bowls XD

Yup, food is the most important thing in their lives. :D Today I put some food in kitty's bowl and later found it suspiciously empty. I have noticed that she likes leaving some food for the future but this time both dry food and milk bowls were completely empty. I have a feeling that my chihuahua helped kitty to eat everything.

I'm not going to tell you how to take care of your cat, but please do NOT give them cow's milk, or any other kind of milk unless it's from another mother cat.

The majority of cats are lactose intolerant. It causes their tummies to ache and it gives them diarrhea. :( Water is just fine for them.

Thanks for explaining that, kittyasauras. I didn't know. I have always trusted my parents, grandparents about rising dogs and cats... I will remember your advice. ^^

When I read you fed them milk I didn't say anything cause I assumed you had special kitty milk for them. Kittyasauras is completely right. Most kittens aren't lactose intolerant yet though, right? I think it's something they develop when they get older. But yes, you should switch to water only anyhow :)

It's okay. : )

A lot of people don't know because giving cats milk is so widely seen in tv shows or cartoons. (I'm not really sure why that is? the same with dogs and small bones..) But, if you do a quick search on the internet you'll see a lot of info about it and what it does to them.

Other things that you shouldn't feed cats (or dogs) are Onions, Grapes/Raisins, and Chocolate. Green Tomatoes and it's leaves/stems aren't good for them either.

I probably wouldn't know all this if my mom wasn't a vet. LOL

That's it indeed, a cat and its bowl of milk are such a widely spread cliche... I don't get why that is either.
