Little apple update (13 Aug disaster and fix)

I can't wait to see her finished too! I always wanted to do this somehow- thought about putting the head on a BJD body but the scale just seems off.

Man it's been a while. I finally got some elastic and had nearly finished stringing her when disaster struck. One of the joints broke. Gah. So in desperation I moved on to plan B.

I took a moxie teens doll and used it as a skeleton with decent results.




Even has moving ankle joints .


The joints are obvious but with the right covering things didn't come out too badly.

This is pretty ingenious, actually. You could give her a white body stocking or use that vinyl/plastic spraypaint on the Moxie body... very interesting. Good proportions, too.

Wow! That's amazing! 8D I'm a huge fan of the Little Apple Dolls as well, and I've always wanted to make a custom one. But I never would've thought of cutting the body to make her ball jointed! That's impressive! ^u^
