yep, everytime i go to DoA it says i'm still waiting for someone to approve

That's what it SAYS... but it was about 5-6 weeks from the time I registered there until my account was approved.

Around the 1-month mark, I figured they had decided not to approve my account, so imagine my surprise a week or two later when I got the confirmation email

Beg. I had to post a topic in the ask the mod squad board and pleaded for my account to be activated.

That was just after three days. They're too high on their damn horses.

"Invitation Only" might have something to do with their board software. If you need an invitation to apply, that might help keep the spammers a bay. After all, who's going to send a spammer and invite? Their mods probably do not have account approval privileges, only their administrators. With their size they might get several dozen requests a day. And I don't know how many admins they have to do all that work.

And they may have found out about your Barbies.
