Hello from West Virginia

Postby DollfieMew » Thu Sep 06, 2012 12:40 pm

Hi!
My name is Josie. I am 28 years old and married. Mostly right now I have plushies.
I collect my little ponies. I don't know if those count as dolls? I make clothes for them.
I also sew plushies sometimes. And a while ago I bought a Volks 1/6 scale dollfie to customize. I was going through a lot at that time though and accidentally threw away the part that connects her head to her neck :( So right now she is in her stand half rooted. I am planning on dropping that project though. Possibly going to sell her or something. And I just put a Bratzilla on layaway at toys-r-us.

Well I guess that's all I got. You can see my blog if you wish.

Welcome to Dollieh Sanctuary! :D Hope you have fun here.

Sorry to hear about what you accidentally threw away, which part was it exactly?

It was like a little knob that makes her neck turn. I can order a new one, but I am really just done with her overall. Someone who makes parts could probably make one for her. That's why I figured I sell her along with the rest of her rooting hair.

This is a little embarrassing but when I bought her I thought I was buying a really small BJD. Later I learned That "Dollfie-Dreams" and "Dollfies" are two totally different things. *facepalm*

Thanks for the warm welcome! I don't know any people IRL who are into dolls and customizing so this should be cool.
